Careers at Fremantle Speech Pathology Services

We are always on the lookout for passionate and enthusiastic speech pathologists who are committed to supporting children with speech, language, and literacy difficulties.

The clinic offers a stimulating work environment, excellent administrative support, and a comprehensive range of resources – all captured in a purpose-built and modern office space.

We understand the demands of focusing on your career while raising a family and maintaining a 'work-life' balance, so we offer positions with flexible and adaptive arrangements.

A mentoring program is available for new graduates, and we strongly encourage you to apply!

We currently have the following positions available:

Speech Pathologist

Part-time position

3-4 days a week with the possibility to expand to full-time after April.

About the Role

Caseload:

  • Choose Your Specialty: The majority of clients referred to FSPS present with language and literacy disorders (from kindergarten through to year 12,) but there is an opportunity to work with a more general caseload - including phonology, stuttering and early language. We do not expect therapists to work across all fields and instead encourage clinicians to pursue developing their proficiency in areas they are passionate about.

  • Bring Your Expertise: We welcome your own areas of practice to enrich our team's diversity and are happy to advertise this on our website and social media.

Perks::

  • School Holidays Off: Enjoy the option to have all school holidays off and only work school terms (this equates to a 4 day work week).

  • Autonomy: Have control over your schedule and caseload.

  • Resources and Support: Benefit from a well-resourced clinic, in-house training, and ongoing supervision and mentoring.

  • Professional Development: Freo Speech is committed to using evidence based programs and support our therapists to upskill where possible. We offer many opportunities to engage in professional learning and really encourage team members to explore their particular areas of interest.

  • Go Beyond Clinical Work: Opportunities for career progression in the future.

  • Supportive Environment: We’re a fun and vibrant clinic with over 30 Speech Pathologists and admin support to help navigate the role. There is always someone who can answer a question!

  • New Graduates Welcome: We have extensive experience in training new therapists and encourage new graduates to apply!

Training

Training in the Sounds-Write or UFLI program would be fabulous, but not essential.

If you are interested in the position, please click "Apply" and attach your CV or email us at contact@freospeech.com.au.
