This pack focuses on teaching the parts of a story and supports planning the different narrative elements. It complements the Planner Pack for Language Devices that focuses onincorperating language devices in a story in order to create a language rich text.

The Narrative Planner Pack includes:

• A copy of the narrative hill (created in conjunction with Stephanie Le Lievre). Each step of the narrative is represented by specific icons that match the narrative planner.

• A narrative planner to 'map out' the events in the story.

• Icons from the narrative hill. These can be used to identify crucial plot points and solidify oral and written narrative macro structures.
